Lighted Sculptures
I've been very excited how my Lighted Sculpture Series has been evolving in my studio lately. The “Red Tower” and the “Yellow Rocket” are the first ones of this re-explored mixed medium series of fabric, steel, and electricity.
I see this series is growing in a more animated way too. There's an exploration of new fabrics and the frameworks have become very dynamic by not only in color but design too. The frameworks have become so strong in character that I’m leaving them more exposed to the viewers.
This series has rekindled an artistic flame in my heart. I love this interaction with my art and I feel the light given off by these creates such a peaceful ambient atmosphere.
